Mzbel lies too much! - Prophet Fire Oja fires after court appearance

Ghanaian pastor Prophet Fire Oja has spoken out after making his second court appearance in the legal dispute involving singer Mzbel, sending a message directly to her.

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the pastor appeared in court for the second hearing of the case brought against him by Mzbel.

After the proceedings, Prophet Fire Oja addressed the media in a video shared by Sammy Kay.

During the interaction, the pastor made it clear that he has no intention of apologising to the singer unless the court specifically orders him to do so.

He also cautioned Mzbel to stop spreading lies about him and to allow the legal process to proceed without interference.

The pastor insisted that the singer has repeatedly made untrue statements about the situation.

Fire Oja says he won't apologise to Mzbel unless court orders him

“I want to tell Mzbel to stop peddling lies against me. She tells too many lies. I recall that during the first hearing, she ran to social media to say that I had been detained, which was absolutely false. When the police invited me, she came out to say that I was arrested. All this is not the best,” he said.

The dispute between the two began after Prophet Fire Oja alleged that the singer suffered serious health complications in 2025 following a visit to a traditionalist known as Ola Maame for what he described as a “soul travel” ritual.

He claimed the situation led to Mzbel being hospitalised for treatment.

The pastor further accused the “16 Years” singer of working together with the traditionalist to deceive women who visit Ola Maame’s shrine in Kasoa.

Mzbel, however, denied the accusations and challenged anyone spreading such claims to provide proof that she had any negative experience with the spiritualist.

Through her lawyers, the singer later issued a legal notice demanding that Prophet Fire Oja retract his statements, apologise, and pay compensation. The letter reportedly gave him a 10-day ultimatum to comply.

The pastor did not respond to the demands, a move that eventually led Mzbel to take the matter to court.
