Actress Juliet Ibrahim has revealed that improving the movie and entertainment industry would be the main reason she might consider stepping into politics.

Speaking to TV3 Ghana on March 10, 2026, the actress said, although the thought has crossed her mind, she sees herself more as someone who would help shape policies or work behind the scenes rather than engage in full-time politics.

“I think that, for me, that’s the only thing I see myself getting into just because of it. But then sometimes I think about it, and I’m like, you know what, maybe I want to be a policy maker. Or maybe someone is working behind the scenes. I don’t know about full-on politics,” she said.

‘Don’t have children before marriage’ – Juliet Ibrahim advises young women

Juliet Ibrahim added that she would not mind embracing the opportunity if she were given the chance to make a meaningful difference in the industry.

However, when asked whether she could take up a ministerial position, she said that might be too demanding.

According to her, she would rather serve as a deputy because she does not enjoy too much stress.

The actress also used the moment to advise young women against having children before marriage, urging them to prioritise building stable homes and practising responsible parenting.

According to her, she does not support the idea of young women deliberately giving birth before marriage.

She explained that young women should focus on finding supportive partners and building stable homes before having children, adding that raising a child alone can be difficult and may affect a child’s emotional well-being.
