Highlife legend Kwaisey Pee has fulfilled a promise he made during his 25th anniversary celebration in the music industry by donating GH¢50,000 to support children battling cancer at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Speaking on behalf of the musician’s team, his manager explained that Kwaisey Pee had long planned to mark his milestone with a humanitarian gesture.
“Through the celebration, one of the things he planned to do was to help children battling cancer. Today is finally the day he decided to fulfill his wish.
“On behalf of Kwaisey Pee’s team, we present to the hospital a sum of GH¢50,000. That should be able to sort some of the children’s bills,” he said.
He shared that the singer is committed to continuing this initiative: “Going forward, Kwaisey will make sure that any little money he would gather, he would help to save lives.”

“Kwaisey is calling on people who would also want to help to come to the Korle-Bu Cancer Unit. The children are young, so if they get the help they need, Ghana will move forward,” he stated.
Kwaisey Pee himself emphasized that the gesture was not for personal gain but for a higher purpose.
“Anyone who wants to contribute to this initiative can reach out to me directly or my team. We are doing this for God and the country,” he added.
The donation is expected to ease the financial burden of families whose children are undergoing treatment at the hospital’s cancer unit.
