Keche Joshua, a member of the music group Keche, has taken to social media to express his disappointment with music lovers in the country over how Ghanaian artistes are treated.
In a video shared on X on December 30, 2025, Keche Joshua lamented the preferential treatment Nigerian artiste Rema received during his stay in Ghana ahead of the AfroFuture concert.
According to him, Rema, who is regarded as an international artiste, does not have any special song that cannot be compared to those of musicians such as Stonebwoy, Kweku Smoke, Sarkodie, and others.
“I have been seeing videos on social media where some Ghanaian bloggers are praising Rema and Asake for their performances at AfroFuture. What Asake and Rema did wasn’t exceptional.
“Look at what Black Sherif, Kweku Smoke, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and others did at their concerts. Kweku Smoke even appeared on stage in a helicopter, and that is what we call craft,” he said.
Keche Joshua further noted that some fans have refused to think critically and acknowledge Ghanaian talents.

“If it were Keche Joshua who made that Rema song, some of you would come for our heads. But because it’s a Nigerian, see how you are praising him.
“How many Ghanaian artistes receive such preferential treatment when they go to Nigeria? Some fans are fools and have refused to think,” he added.
