Ghanaian Afro-dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has disclosed that he shares a good relationship with President John Dramani Mahama, describing the president as a major source of inspiration to him.
The award-winning musician made the remarks in a viral video from a podcast interview, where he was asked about his relationship with the president.
Responding to the question, Stonebwoy gave an affirmative “hmm,” confirming that the relationship exists.
Explaining his admiration for President Mahama, the 'Sobolo' singer said the president’s journey from the grassroots to the highest office in the country sets him apart from other presidents.
"Our president is one of the people who really inspires me because he actually comes from the grassroots. This is one president who has a record of coming from an assemblyman; he's from the ranks, like he's been everything that somebody can be along the way; minister, vice president, etc," Stonebwoy said.
He noted that President Mahama’s background and experience continue to inspire him.
He ended his remarks by giving a shout-out to President Mahama, adding that, “He’s changing the world in his own ways already.”
