Ever since the first Bhimnation Ultimate Concert on May 1, 2015, at the Tema Sports Stadium, Stonebwoy has consistently delivered unforgettable experiences to Ghanaians.
The 10th edition of BhimFest was no exception. The Gidigidi hitmaker, alongside dozens of fellow musicians, filled the 40,000-capacity Accra Sports Stadium and treated fans to a musical spectacle like no other.
BHIMFEST2025 stood apart from the many shows scheduled for December. From its promotion and marketing to the lineup of artistes, the festival was in a league of its own.
One of the first things noticeable was the tight security and seamless organisation. Each ticket type had its designated entry path, and the abundance of courteous security personnel ensured safety and order. There was no congestion or delay.
Another standout improvement was punctuality. The event began at exactly 8 p.m., with rising artistes showcasing their talent. By midnight, the stadium was packed to capacity, and the MCs and DJs had whipped the crowd into a frenzy.
Then came the man of the moment, 1Gad, the Torcher himself, emerging in celebratory silver to lead fans through some of his greatest hits.
The energy didn’t stop there. DopeNation, D Cryme, Praye, LalixLola, and many others electrified the audience with their performances. Stonebwoy later returned in all black, flanked by Incredible Zigi and the Afrozigi dance crew, delivering yet another outstanding set.
The night’s major highlight was the surprise appearance of international artiste Mr P (formerly of P-Square), who thrilled the crowd with his classic tunes.
Overall, the show’s organisation, sound, lighting, and performances were on point, leaving the audience craving more.
That said, there were minor hiccups. Despite improved timing compared to other shows, some felt the event overpromised and underdelivered in parts. VIP and VVIP ticket holders also complained about limited access to facilities such as washrooms.
Still, as BhimFest marks its 10th year, one thing is clear: The Torcher isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
