The building housing a community based television station in the Central Region; “Coastal TV” has been razed down by fire. The station’s studio and other offices have been completely burnt down, a situation that will affect the operations of the station for many months to come.

Citi FM's Central Regional correspondent, Kwamena Bamfo-Adjei repoted that fire fighters were at the scene to control the fire but to no avail.

According to him, the cause of the fire is not known but it is believed that the fire might have been caused by an electrical fault.
