Ex hiplife musician, Thoni Rock Peters dedicates album to God for healing him

He was once known as Black Image who stormed stages with Tinny, Lord Kenya, Reggie Rockstone and more any time there was a hiplife event but now hopes to strike a chord with the human spirit.

Thoni Rock Peters has grown to learn that God has a purpose for things he has given to him. “It wasn’t an easy journey and I don’t even want to remember it but I know now that God has given me a task”, he said.

With the release of “Blessing Me”, his debut album, Thoni steps to the next level in his new remarkable career and remains in the forefront of future generations of gospel musicians with his inspiring and timeless gospel messages.

Sunny FM is currently blasting “Blessing Me” but my other favourites are ‘Maki’, ‘Ohene’, ‘Prayer’ and ‘Wasem’.

Thoni counts himself blessed to have grown-up in the house of the Lord as a chorister of Conquerors Chapel and also states that he will forever do gospel music.

Thoni says “Its not only money that we should say are blessings from God but deliverance, healing and other spiritual things. Money ain’t anything that’s why he has blessed me by healing me from my serious sickness at my SSS level”.

Thoni Rock Peters, has raised the Ghanaian music bar with this new album. The album features a host of musical all-stars including musical genius Eben Fusion, Mark of Mentor II fame and Ben Gaizer.

The eight track album contains typical francophone, R&B and reggae tunes which are sang in English, Twi and Ga. The entire album was recorded at Fredyma Studios with Fred Kyei Mensah and Black Cat (Festus Asamoah Robinson) behind his work.

His first studio album “Blessing Me”, the new release is due in stores late this October.

Not only is Thoni’s new single, “Blessing Me,” taking over radio airwaves across the country, but it is having an impact on people who hear it.

“This is an album that has advices, also lets you stick to your Christianity life and also a personal story about myself”, he said.
