Phamous People To Direct Chemphe's New Video

Urbanlife singer/songwriter Chemphe is working with multiple award winning Phamous People on the video for his new single 'Why You Dey Treat Am Bad'. The song, an emotional plea against domestic violence, was recorded by David 'Keywa' Kyei at Groove Zone, Tema Community 11 with backing vocals by selected singers drawn from two resident choirs of Action Chapel, Tema Community 9.

GYO (George Gyimah) of Phamous People & Bloo Spidaz had only one word to say after he heard the track: "Deep!" And Chemphe is confident that Phamous People will come up with an equally deep video to reinforce the message in his music.

Phamous People also produced the critically acclaimed video for 'Menka', a collaboration between Chemphe and 2GA so there must be something they are doing that impresses Chemphe.

Asked why he is working again with Phamous People to produce the video for 'Why You Dey Treat Am Bad', Chemphe said: "They stand out...their videos are international...they like what they do and they don't joke with their work!" 'Why You Dey Treat Am Bad' is scheduled for release on November 25, International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women.
