Megastar Ltd, A Specialized Record Label

Megastar Megastar Limited began its operation in the mid nineties as a record label specializing in the provision of music information, album mastering, cassette duplication, cassette loading, marketing, artiste and band management.

Aside its initial objectives megastar commenced business with four definite aims in 1994.

These are,
? Alleviate the problem of tape shortages in the country,
? Supply audiotapes of world class standard
? Provide an all round one stop for quality conscious musicians and producers alike
? Take Ghanaian musicians outside the borders of Ghana through effective marketing and artiste management.

The fourth initial aim of setting up Megastar Ltd has now become the main preserve of company.

Presently artiste on the megastar record label include,

Tagoe Sisters Rev. Yawson Nana Yaw Obeng Kontihene Pat Thomas Akwesi Ampofo Adjei (A.A.A) The Megastar Band.

Over the years megastar has worked with over 18 artistes on the label and has now reduced it to its present number.

There are a host of artiste presently undergoing review be being signed on to the label.
