Jimmy Jean-Louis, Jude Law and Sharon Stone to host ‘Peace One Day Concert’

Ghanaian film-maker, Leila Djansi must be one happy camper as the male lead of her upcoming psycho-drama, ‘Sinking Sands’, continues to make the headlines. Haitian actor Jimmy Jean Louis will be one of the co-hosts of this year’s Peace One Day Concert.

This year’s concert will be held in Zenith Paris on September 17. The event will be hosted Jimmy Jean Louis, Sharon Stone, and Jude Law with performances by Patti Smith, Vanessa Paradis, Charlie Winston, -M-, Youssou N’Dour, Yodelice and Ayo.

Founded by American filmmaker Jeremy Gilley, the movement “Peace One Day” is behind the adoption by the UN World Day of Peace. The event aims to “enable people, especially youth, involved in the peace process” international in favor of non-violence and a cease-fire overall.
