Luckie, Yvonne Support Osu Children’s Home

TOP ACTRESSES Luckie Lawson and Yvonne Nelson have stretched a hand of benevolence by reaching out to Children at the Osu Children’s Home, located in the heart of Accra.

The two beautiful actresses, last Friday donated items worth a lot of Ghana cedis to the home for the upkeep of the underprivileged children there.

Among items donated included boxes of tooth paste & brushes, biscuits, fruit juice, matches, toilet rolls, a bag of slippers and more.

The two ladies were received by officials of the home and a number of children, who posed with them for memorable photographs.

The kind gesture, according to Luckie Lawson and Yvonne Nelson, who are very good friends, was part of their social responsibility to give back to society which contributed to the level they have reached now.

Luckie told BEATWAVES that she finds joy in giving, especially to the needy in society. According to her, she feels fulfilled when she sees these needy children smile because someone has offered them some kind of help.

Thus, she said she is happy to have put smiles on the faces of the children via her donation.

Both Luckie and Yvonne concluded that Friday’s donation was not going to be their last as they will be embarking on various projects to give to back to society.
