HIV patient gets divine healing?

When a 20-year-old boy stood before worshippers at the Synagogue Church of All Nations to confess that he has contracted the HIV/AIDS virus, little did he know that the open confession was leading him to his salvation and cure.

After being prayed for and going through deliverance the young boy on his next visit to the hospital to check his HIV status was pronounced free of the HIV antibodies (negative).

According to the boy (name withheld) he has been sick for sometime now and after all medical care failed, he was referred to the Virology Unit of Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research to have an HIV test by Dr J.A. Sogbordjor, Medical Director of Central Achimota Clinic.

According to him when it was detected that he had HIV, he as well as his parents were shattered. He said because of the stigma people attach to the disease, his parents kept it a secret and sent him to Lagos, Nigeria to seek spiritual healing at Prophet T. B. Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations but they were directed to return and see the head of the Ghana branch.

He said after consulting the leader he was made to make a confession on which February 21, he did and was prayed for and was pronounced healed.

The young boy said on March I, he went for a confirmation test but the results showed negative therefore he came back to the church to give his testimony.

Reports on both tests were made available to The Mirror who later contacted Dr Sogbordjor who confirmed the healing.

He said the reports were signed by Dr M. Osei-Kwasi, Head of the Virology Unit.

When quizzed on whether he believes in spiritual healing, Dr Sogbordjor said “personally I don’t, but since the medical reports indicate that the boy has been healed. I cannot doubt it”.

Later, the head of the Ghana branch of the Synagogue Church, Bro. Peter Kayode said it was the power of God that performed the healing and that a lot more people have had similar experiences with different types of sicknesses.
