Kwaw Kese (King of the Streets) meets President Bush

It might not sound right in your ears, if it’s not then, make a ‘fist’ and bang it against your head that’s if you are an already established fan or new fan of the Abodam family. On the second day of President Bush trip to Ghana, little did Kwaw Kese know he was going to stand face to face with President George W. Bush. After President Bush had his bilateral talks with President Kufuour he made way for the American embassy located at Cantonments.

“We presented some of our works to someone at the US Embassy who gave us to chance to meet President Bush”, Fennic, the hardworking manager of Kwaw Kese said.

Could everyone believe that even though President Bush had a tight schedule he was able to give Kwaw Kese thirty minutes of his time. “President Bush had a feel of my dreads whiles I gave him an insight of what we Ghanaian hiphop artistes have got”, Kwaw Kese.

Bush asked him questions like “How is business for you?, Are they buying your records?, What kind of music I did and the influence it had on people”

“It’s a ‘crazy’ privilege to meet the man regard as the world’s strongest man. Gradually we are taking the mic to the international level”, Kwaw Kese said.

There has been some out bursts by hiphop artistes like Kanye West that Prez Bush doesn’t care about Black Americans but he has proven them all wrong with what he has done with Kwaw Kese .

50 cent has come out publicly to voice out that he wishes to meet President Bush one day so far not any Black American hiphop artiste has ever met President Bush, come to mention names like Jay Z, Kanye West or P. Diddy.

President Bush is currently on an African tour with his wife and Condoleezza Rice, the US Secretary of State. President Bush has made policies on aid and trade in Africa but has not yet made any on music.

Kwaw Kese has made a great deal of noise with his coined word “ABODAM” also meaning madness which is on the lips of every music lover of hiphop/hiplife music.

Kwaw Kese early this year beefed up his promotion of his album (Odiem) by adding a video dubbed “Wo Se Mbaa Pewo” and paying respect to Reggie Rockstone in the video.

Kwaw Kese has been well received in the Ghanaian music industry as everyone sees he truly hustled his way up to the road of success. Truly the King of Streets has finally met the President of the World. I can’t end the article without writing Kwaw Kese’s slogan – “Fa Won Sa Bo Wa Dwene, Abodam!!!!”
