Ghana's Only Poetry Magazine Grows Quickly

After three months of existence, Ghana’s only poetry magazine, One Ghana, One Voice has published the writing of many talented Ghanaian poets, and has steadily developed a readership of hundreds of poetry fans from around the globe.
In response to this burgeoning interest, the magazine has added a number of key features, including an events bulletin board, to further expand the usefulness its for the people of Ghana. As part of these improvements, One Ghana, One Voice has moved from its old web address “http://oneghanaonevoice.blogspot.com” to the new, more accessible “http://oneghanaonevoice.com”.
Of the magazine's success, co-founder Rob Taylor says: "The response to One Ghana, One Voice has been overwhelming, and the number of strong poets we have been able to profile has been very inspiring. Hopefully, with the support of the local Universities, arts community and media, we will be able to continue to expand our work promoting the amazing writers of Ghana to the world."
As it grows, One Ghana, One Voice is always looking for new poets to feature. Interested poets can e-mail submissions to oneghanaonevoice@gmail.com.
One Ghana, One Voice was established in March 2007 as a joint effort by Ghanaian poet Julian Adomako-Gyimah and Canadian poet Rob Taylor. The magazine profiles a new poem and poet every Saturday.
