Sakumo We marks Kpele dancing ceremony

Accra, Aug. 29, GNA - Traditional heads and customary guardians of Sakumo Tsoshishi on Tuesday convened at Bukom in Accra to mark the annual Kpele purification and dancing ceremony aimed at bringing unity into the Ga State.

Numo Ogbarmey III, Sakumo Wulomo, said Kpele was an occasion when all representatives of their ancestors, sub-chiefs of the Sakumo clan and all fetish priests in Greater Accra came t ogether for merrymaking and to witness the Kpele dancing.

He said the ceremony, which was celebrated after the Homowo Festival, provided members of the clan an opportunity to interact with their clan heads and to share ideas on ways to improve the well-being of its people.

Numo Ogbarmey III called for unity among Gas to ensure peace and harmony in the Ga State.
