Zylofon Media hints of signing Sarkodie

Zylofon Media has given an indication of signing award-winning rapper, Sarkodie on its record label.

It is not clear if there are plans to sign on the Rapper born Michael Owusu Addo

“Zylofon Media can sign any other artiste if we feel it will be a good thing to do. It’s a decision at a point in time we will make if the need arises. Of course, if leaders one day decide that, now looking at the drive, looking at the next destination if we get Sarkodie on the bill it is going to be in our favor, we will think about Sarkodie. When we think getting Samini on the label is going to push it further we will look for Samini”, Sammy Baah the Public Relations Officer of Zylofon told Adehyie Fm in Kumasi

This was in response to question as to whether Zylofon Media is planning to sign the Boss of Sarkcess Music.

Zylofon Media, last year signed arguably most of the top musicians in Ghana.

Some of the signed artistes include; the BET award winner, Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Joyce Blessing and recent storm taking signing of the Dancehall King Shatta Wale among others totalling twelve the number of artistes on the Label.

Sarkodie is one of the most successful Ghanaian artistes with huge international fan base and recognition as compared to his peers in the industry.

With his record label Sarkcess Music, he has signed and helped groom numerous underground artists bringing them to the mainstream.

Most people have however doubted if indeed the fastest Rapper will join his colleagues at Zylofon whiles other argue the BET Award winner may not be prepared to join any record label. “Even if he is prepared, can anyone pay him for signing to another Label”, an entertainment analyst opined.
