CEO of Slip Entertainment, Mark Okraku-Mantey, has described the staff of Zylofon Media as incompetent.

According to him, with the array of creative talents the company has signed, they should have a lot more positive results to show than what is pertaining currently.

Zylofon Media surfaced in the Ghanaian entertainment industry barely two years ago, reportedly making massive investments.

The company manages music artistes including Becca, Joyce Blessing, Stonebwoy, Kumi Guitar, Obibini Boafo, and Shatta Wale, who was signed recently.

In the last few weeks, Zylofon has been in the news for wrong reasons.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have engaged in social media war which has reportedly led to the 'Baafira' singer deciding to leave Zylofon.

But speaking on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Naa Ashorkor, Okraku Mantey who also doubles as the Programmes Manager of Hitz FM wondered why there is so much fuss about Zylofon.

For the Slip Music boss, Zylofon has only been about spending and media hype without achieving much because the outfit has money but lack men who can really achieve results.

“The Artistes have we grown them? If we haven’t, I think we should be having answers to some of these things instead of every time oh they are launching cash something something cash thing,” he said.

Using Becca as an example, Mr Okraku Mantey stated that Zylofon had devalued her talent because with project-oriented people like her [Becca], there should be positive results after investment but in the case of Zylofon, there are no positive results.

He challenged the host, Naa Ashorkor, to mention one hit song that has been made from an act under Zylofon to further buttress his point.

Mark Okraku Mantey has been in the music industry for well over two decades. He is credited with making the careers top artistes like Lord Kenya and Daasebre Dwamena.
