Yvonne Okoro crowned Glitz Africa Style Influencer of the Year

Award-winning actress, Yvonne Okoro, known for her immense contribution to Ghana’s entertainment industry has won for herself the Glitz Africa Style Influencer of the Year.

The award is in recognition of the large followers the actress has on social media, the fashion content she creates, and the power she has on influencing the opinion and purchase behaviour of others.

Honouring the award, the actress, in a heartfelt speech thanked her father for the unwavering support given her over the years and further dedicated the award to him.

The 5th edition of the Glitz Style Awards, hosted by Nigerian designer Mai Atafo and Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas came off successfully at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

The night saw a display of beauty and fashion by our favourite celebrities with Nana Akua Addo topping it all with her drop-dead costume. KiDi, DopeNation, Kobby Rana also thrilled audiences with their top-notch performances.

Many awards were won on the night with King Promise topping it all with two awards. Rapper, M.anifest won ‘Individual Style of the Year’ and Zynnell Zuh winning the Best Dressed Celebrity on the Red Carpet.

The annual Glitz Style Awards is celebrated to honour individuals setting trends and raising standards with their fashion style.

The Glitz Style Awards seeks to strengthen the country’s growing fashion industry by establishing, developing and promoting international industry standards here in Ghana.

It also serves an opportunity for the fashion industry to celebrate and promote the extraordinary creative talents in Ghana and across the African continent.
