Actress Yvonne Nelson has charged in a new post on twitter accusing government of failing Ghanaians in its vision 2020 goal.
Popular actress Yvonne Nelson has criticised the NPP government led by Akufo-Addo of failing Ghanaians. According to her, the vision 2020 promise Akufo-Addo made to Ghanaians as part of his campaign in 2016 has not be realised with six months to end the year.
In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, Nelson said Ghana is even worse now.
She added that with all the natural resources endowed with the nation, Ghana is still reeling in poverty.
Yvonne wrote: “Remember vision 2020? And all the stuff our leaders told us? Well 2020 is in 6months. The country is even worse now! Sometimes I wonder.....how do we have all the resources and still remain in such poverty!”
This is not the first time Yvonne Nelson has attacked the government. She was earlier in the news for a similar rant accusing Akufo-Addo of failing Ghanaians.
Yvonne also threatened to embark on a demonstration against the government for not living up to expectation.
She was also in the news for organising a “dumsor” vigil against the former government led by John Mahama.
When you are used to mediocre, you see the leaders as gods, charley the youth, wake up!!!! Educate yourselves. Go to school! Get that degree! Equip yourselves! We are gonna change this country! We will change our destiny and that of our kids!
