Wizkid dated my step-sister; I can’t be with him – Efya

Songstress Efya has refuted claims of being involved in a romantic relationship with International Afro beats star Wizkid adding that the Nigerian musician has once ‘dated’ her younger step-sister.

She made known during an interview with Delay that the relationship between Wizkid and herself is based on family grounds adding that he is like her younger brother and they both make music together.

‘’He has been in a relationship with my younger sister before so there’s no way we could date. He is my younger brother, I respect him and he does same. We make amazing music together, we have such a great vibe, I like that very much. We are family already .our relationship is not about sex. There’s no way we could get sexual’’. She asserted.

Meanwhile, Efya has recently been signed onto Wizkid’s label Starboy Worldwide records, alongside Mr Eazi and R2Bees in a huge coup for the emerging label.

It is expected that the signing might bring some noteworthy Ghanaian and Nigerian musical power together under the Starboy umbrella, as the Ghanaian acts will be joining the likes of Legendary Beatz, Maleek Berry, and L.A.X on the label’s roster.

Wizkid also announced that R2Bees’ Paedae aka Omar Sterling will be the new president of Starboy Worldwide.
