Wizkid, D’banj, Beyonce, Jay Z others to headline Mandela Festival

Top Nigerian music stars Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, D’banj and Femi Kuti are billed to perform alongside Beyonce and Jay Z in the upcoming Mandela 100 Global Citizen Festival.

The grand programme will feature performances from a host of global and local artists, including Ed Sheeran, Jay Z, Beyoncé, Casper Nyovest, as well as the Nigerian stars.

The lineup for the Global Citizen Festival to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 100th centenary was announced by supermodel, Naomi Campbell, on Monday, July 9.

The festival is one that seeks to honor former South African President, the late Nelson Mandela, and aims at ending extreme poverty by 2030.
