Ghanaian gospel singer Danny Addo has unveiled a new album titled "The Refreshing," a nine-track live recording that is beginning to draw attention within Christian music circles.
The project, recorded live in 2025, captures a vibrant atmosphere of worship and praise. The album reflects Addo’s focus on spiritual renewal and thanksgiving, blending God's Word with rhythms to create a worship experience for listeners.
The Refreshing album features nine songs: “Do It Again,” “Adom Nyame,” “Reason,” “Hwe Nea Awurade Aye” featuring Kwadwo Awortey, “Okum Yen Daa (The Psalm 91 Song),” “Anigye Praise Medley,” “Time of Refreshing” featuring Ps. Sammy Obeng-Poku, “Well Done,” and “The Benedicta.”
Some of the songs highlight themes of gratitude, faith, and God’s protection, particularly "Okum Yen Daa" (The Psalm 91 Song), which draws inspiration from the biblical promise of divine protection.
Collaborations on the album also add variety to the live worship experience, especially the songs featuring Kwadwo Awortey and Pastor Sammy Obeng-Poku.
With the release of The Refreshing, Danny Addo continues his mission of using gospel music as a tool for ministry, encouraging believers to remain steadfast in faith while creating moments of worship through live music recordings.
The album is now available on YouTube and major digital streaming platforms for gospel music listeners and worshippers worldwide.
