‘Who is Kontihene?’ - Papi of 5Five takes a dig at Migizigi rapper

They say, time heals all wounds but it seems the bone of contention between Papi of 5Five fame and Kontihene still exists after all these years.

For those who might not know, there has been "enmity" between the two Ghanaian artistes following a misunderstanding in 2016.

Hiplife musician, Kontihene in an interview on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra in May 2016 called Papi a “stupid little boy” for disrespecting him. Recalling what transpired between them, Kontihene said “while I was doing my soundcheck, this little boy came on stage to snatch the mic from me. When these children grow and start suffering, it’s because of these type of stupid behaviours”.

Kontihene mentioned that Papi’s manager at the time, Bulldog did not condemn the act but rather sided with his artiste.

“I want to believe when I was doing music, he was wearing diapers. Because his manager was Bulldog, he had the guts to climb the stage to snatch my mic?”

Not much was heard from Papi after this claim. Fast forward to 2020 and Papi in an interview with MzGee on 3FM’s Showbuzz suggested he knows no one by name Kontihene.

“Who is Kontihene? I don’t know him”, responded Papi when asked if there had been efforts to resolve the feud.
