Dancehall act Stonewboy is one of the five musicians entertainment company, Zylofon Media has signed on their record label.
During the press soiree organised to unveil the ‘My Name’ singer, officials at the company refused to mention the amount they gave the musician before he agreed to join the company and this gave room for several Ghanaians to quote any amount that comes in mind.
Zionfelix.net heard from certain quarters that the Bhim Nation boss took 1 million dollars from the company before he put pen to paper to sign but the head of communications at Zylofon Media, Samuel Baah has denied the rumour.
Speaking to Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch entertainment show, Mr. Atuobi Baah asked the public to give deaf ears to the rumour because that is not the amount in their contract.
The man who was not ready to disclose the amount Zylofon gave to Stonebwoy said the money might not be up to one million dollars.
“If you didn’t hear the amount from Zylofon, then take it as hearsay but what is on our paper is just for Stonebwoy and us. you can keep or disregard what you are hearing but it is better to throw it away because that is not the information.
What is on paper might be smaller than what you are quoting” Samuel Atuobi Baah told Zionfelix
