A distasteful conversation which transpired between Ghana’s most formidable music duo Wutah who finally went on solo career revealed that they are not back.

The news circulating over the weekend had it that the two known in showbiz as Kobby Wutah and Afriyie Wutah were planning to comeback since fans for decades now haven't heard from them.

The two on Accra base Pluzz FM, on their leading entertainment flagship programme AM PLUZZ, express the main reason for their break up and went on solo project in 2010. According Kobby Wutah “ this is the last time am speaking about Wutah and its going on for a very long time”.

He said I travelled to the States to work on my project which my brother Afriyie called me and said he wants Wutah back because fans really missed our hits. So he is working on a project which he taught it wise that i must come on board.

“… so I told him to send me some material after he [Afriyie Wutah] is done with his verse so I[Wutah Kobby record mine verse in States, he averred.”

Kobby Wutah born Daniel Morris, further said “the reason why news going viral that we're back is that my management during the Kwahu festive celebration contact Multimedia Group for a juicy gig which my brother Afriyie Wutah, refused to come on board which my management had to terminate the contract”.

He pleaded his Kotosa colleague to come out and say that Wutah is back and the next time he speaks on this issue is a new single that the ‘Burning Desire’ hit singers 'Wutah' are bringing out.

Afriyie Wutah, on his part was not happy with what his colleague said on radio. He expressed that I feel sad listening to my brother speaking this way.

According to Afriyie Wutah “When I called kobby for kotosa remix so we can shoot a video for it he said I wanted to re-record the song Kotosa for my selfish interest”. I contacted him again and said this was a career we have built 10 years ago which has won us so many awards so lets do this for our fans.

Everybody has what he is doing but for me am a procurement officer but i dumbed that and focus business at the end of the day Kobby came back from States and i was also working on my project he explained.

“...In my family we have top notch professionals and I was the only one who took music which my family is expecting something great from me, born Frank Kojo Osei Afriyie said”.

When host of the programme Sammy Flex asked both artistes what’s the way forward is Wutah coming back? Afriyie said “this should not happening on National radio but what I can say is we must work on our egos”.

Wutah Kobby also added that there’s nothing like egos here the only thing am saying is this is my last time am speaking about this issue I rest my case”.
