Ghanaian hiplife group Praye have confirmed their comeback as a group in the music industry, saying they are here to stay forever. They started as individual artistes and later merged as a group because of the Nescafe Africa Revelation held some years ago.
They, however, broke away in 2013 after a misunderstanding ensued between them. The group have been back for just over a year now and have released two singles titled Kpotoo and Christina. Speaking exclusively to 3news.com, Praye Tietia disclosed that they are back for good and looking forward to giving their fans what they deserve.
“We are back and to show our fans that we are really back, we chose a record label or an emblem that supersedes all that has happened in the past. “We can assure our fans that we are back and will be doing music forever and if we are to break up now then it means none of us will do any song again.”
According to Praye Tintin, a lot of thought was put into the group’s decision to make a comeback, stating the hard work they put in to make ‘Praye’ a music force in the country some years back as one of the reasons for the decision.
“We were once there and time took us away to do our solo things which didn’t work so we are back now with full force to keep the fire burning so people should expect more,” he added.
He said, “I play my own beats and I play good beats which I think is a plus to the group and the future is bright and clear. “We know our fans have missed us and it’s obvious there is a lot more work to be done so they should expect good music from us”.
