Ghanaian actor, Joseph Osei known in the industry as Wayoosi has expressed his profound gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Arts, his Whatsapp group, Onipa Ho Hia and Ghanaians in general for the support they have since offered him at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The Ministry of Creative Arts yesterday donated an amount of Gh5000 to Wayoosi, who is currently receiving medication at the KATH health facility in Kumasi.
His personal Whatsapp group, *Onipa Papa Ho Hia* also donated blood for him and as well took charge of some hospital bills on Monday, 1st of August when they visited him at the hospital.
When seancitygh.com visited Wayoosi last Thursday at the hospital, he ceased the opportunity to express his appreciation to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Arts, his Whatsapp group, Onipa Ho Hia for their kind gesture. He also thanked the good people of Ghana for rallying behind him in this time of difficulty and continued to appeal for support from Ghanaians.
Wayoosi has been on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for about a week now and according to his wife, Evelyn owusu her husband is responding to treatment.
The Ashanti Region branch of the Ghana Actors Guild has since released a statement confirming that their member, Wayoosi is not in good condition and that he needs the support of Ghanaians both in spiritual and financial terms .
