A video of Ghanaian musician Patapaa has surfaced online, capturing him involved in a heated confrontation with some individuals at a hotel.

According to reports, Patapaa engaged in a verbal altercation with a hotel staff member over what he described as disrespectful treatment meted out to him.

In the video sighted by GhanaWeb on June 2, 2026, the musician was heard stating that he would no longer lodge at the hotel because of the alleged disrespect he received from a receptionist.

In the one-minute, 35-second video, the hotel staff were seen attempting to calm him down as tensions escalated.

Although the main cause of the disrespect was unknown, Patapaa was heard saying, “I will not sleep here. The people who work in this hotel are disrespectful. Even if someone comes to your hotel and is mentally disturbed but can afford to pay for a room, you should still welcome the person.”

Meanwhile, the video has since generated widespread reactions on social media.

While some netizens have sided with the musician and shared their own experiences of poor customer service in some hotels, others have expressed concern about what they describe as Patapaa's tendency to become angry over seemingly minor issues.
