Actor Bernard Aduse-Poku and wife Stella Dwomoh flew from New York City in the United States of America to Ghana for their traditional wedding which happened on Saturday July 16 this year at Sepe Buokrom in Kumasi.
The simple but elegant event had the Kumawood actor and his family knocking at the door of his long time girlfriend and family seeking to marry her. The two followed tradition and exchanged vows on the day of the engagement.
The process of getting marred in our tradition is just beautiful judging from how families of the couple gathered and the process used for the traditional wedding.
After the two had promised family and friends who gathered at Stella’s house for the event that they would live happily forever, the first session of the engagement ceremony was brought to an end for the ‘chop chop’ part to continue.
The newly couple were ushered into the crowd with an adowa dance to showcase the beautiful Ghanaian culture. Members of the actor’s guild led by Bill Asamoah were present at the engagement of Bernard Aduse-Poku who happens to be the vice president of the Kumasi chapter of the guild and his wife, Stella.
The ’98 class of Kumasi High School were also present to wish their friend well.
