Wake Up To a Brighter Day: Lantam is new host for GH Today on GHOne TV

Award-winning breakfast show, GH Today has announced media personality and broadcaster, Lantam Papanko as the new host to officially take over affairs of the program.

GH Today goes live on weekdays from 6am on DSTV channel 361 and GHOne TV - bringing viewers resonance of accurate and freshest of news, current affairs, health and awareness discussions, financial, sports, entertainment reports with top notch reviews and analysis of the day's trending topics with industry professionals, influencers and politicians.

The Host

Lantam Papanko has worked as broadcaster for the EIB network since 2016 as the host of the Ultimate Breakfast Show on Ultimate FM in kumasi and currently moved to Accra based GHOne TV. Lantam Papanko was born in Sunyani and started his basic school there at the Holy Spirit Catholic school.

He continued to Achimota School in Accra for his secondary education where his love for classical and choral music led him to join the Aggrey Chapel Choir. Lantam after Achimota School then begun his career in broadcasting with Sky FM in Sunyani as a newscaster and subsequently host of the late afternoon show, the Busy Drive which he handled for the next two years.

He then gained admission into the Central University where he obtained a bachelors degree in business administration, majoring in Human Resource Management. He then returned to broadcasting at Sky FM in Sunyani once more where he rose through the ranks and transitioned to hosting the Big Breakfast show which was a political, current affairs and lifestyle morning show.

In 2016 Lantam Papanko joined the EIB Network as a broadcaster and presenter of the Ultimate Breakfast Show on Ultimate FM in Kumasi. The ultimate Breakfast show under Lantam and his able producers blossomed into one of the most listened to morning shows in the the Ashanti region, fending of competition from other urban urban stations churning out their content from Accra to Kumasi.

Aside Broadcasting Lantam enjoys reading and playing sports like basketball and football. He is a die hard fan of Accra Hearts of Oak and Manchester United. Lantam has been nominated in the category of morning show host of the year Ashanti Region in the upcoming Foklex Media Awards 2019.

Lantam brings to GH Today a passion to impress on duty bearers of the nation to do what is required of them and account to Ghanaians, and a drive to satisfy your morning television needs. "Brighten the corner where you are" is a phrase that sums up Lantam's perspective on life and he brings that to bear on GH Today.
