Virgin Mary And Jesus Appear In Bolgatanga

The Virgin Mary is reported to have appeared at Bolgatanga at the weekend during the non-celebrated Votive Mass of the Immaculative Heart of Mary. The occasion was the Sixth National Sacred Heart Congress of the Catholic Church in the Upper-West region. Also appearing in the configuration was baby Jesus Christ.

According to the reports, while the Congregation was having its morning devotion, the sky suddenly lit up, changed into a blend of red and blue colours, after which the bright images of the Virgin Mary and Jesus appeared in a dancing mood.

Those who witnessed the configuration are said to given a loud shout, which drew the attention of other worshippers. Eye-witnesses, who were held spell-bound, are said to have gone on their knees in fervent prayer.

The spectacle lasted for 30 minutes. A member of the Wa Diocese of the Catholic Church in the Upper West Region who confirmed the spectacle, said when he tried to look at his watch to tell the time, his wrist watch went blank.
