Video: Sean Paul catches 'Alkayida' fever

It appears Ghana’s ‘Alkayida’ dance has once again gone international, as US-based Dancehall artiste Sean Paul was captured performing the ‘Alkayida’ dance with rapper Fuse ODG in a new video for single ‘Dangerous Love.’

Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques, known by his stage name Sean Paul, happens to be the first international celebrity NEWS-ONE has seen doing the ‘Alkayida’ dance. In the ‘Dangerous Love’ music video, the ‘Temperature’ hitmaker was seen doing the dance together with UK based Ghanaian rapper Fuse ODG.

Sean Paul, who held firmly to his style of music, was at the peak of his career in the early 2000s.

His twist to the ‘Dangerous Love’ gave an Afro-pop blend to the song.

Fuse ODG released his ‘Dangerous Love’ music video online over the weekend. He is noted for promoting Ghanaian dance on the international scene with his unique style of singing.

This happens to be the second time a Ghanaian dance has gone viral worldwide. The famous ‘Azonto’ Dance was well received by the world.
