Victoria Michaels marks another year… spends her day with orphans

Today (November 4) is the birthday of Ghana born fashionista and international model, Victoria Michaels.

Born into the blissful world of beauty on this day, the model per excellence has risen into limelight, she’s kept her cool, and controls the terrain she adores and trod with perfection. Since taking her modelling passion by the horn, she has never looked back.

Her charismas on billboards, advertorials cum her gait on the runway have made fashion lovers, pundits and enthusiasts to liken her to Naomi Campbell from this part of our world. Others have said that, with the path she is taking; she will soon be declared one of the few “supermodels” of her generation from Ghana by the fashion world.

Victoria is good at what she does, that is why awards never cease to decorate her shelf. In October 2014, she was recognised as ‘Outstanding Achievement Award and Fashion Personality of the Year’ at the Eagles Submit Africa Awards. She was the face of the maiden edition of Fashion Icon Awards and in that respect; she coveted home the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’.

In early 2014, she pouched the ‘Potential Super Model of the Year Award’, from the All Africa Media Networks Awards in Accra, Ghana.

She has earned herself, over the years, international recognition as well as deals as brand Ambassador for international organisations such as for Bel- AQUA, Ariels Spa, Ghana @ 50 Gold show, the House Model for Artdress by the late Fashion legend Kofi Ansah, BBC African Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week, FIMA Fashion Week, and Dark & Lovely Hair Fashion Show.

She has also featured on Oh! Yes Magazine, FIMA Magazine, Da Viva, Print ads for Agricultural Development Bank, Woodin, MTN, Cover for Ghana’s 2006 Presidential diary, TV commercials for MTN, Nescafe, Woodin, Social media campaign for Vodaphone alongside renowned artistes like; D’Banj and Sarkodie.

In addition to her modelling career, Victoria Michaels has embarked on other ventures, which includes consultancy among others, and as well as managing her VM foundation.

On this day, the runway goddess will be spending quality timeout with the Teshie Nungua Orphanage in Accra, Ghana, in grand style.
