Vanessa Gyan to model for charity

LIVE FM’s Vanessa Gyan will model at the 2016 Glitz Africa Fashion Week to raise funds for charity.

The ‘Trace Radio‘ host will be joined by actor James Gardiner, actress Nana Akua Addo and Nikki Samonas and model Vica Micheals at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City on Sunday, October 9 at 6pm.

They will be strutting their stuff on the runway in cloths by Ghanaian designers which would be sold to support some charity homes.

Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) is tailored to provide the platform for Africa’s Fashion Industry to showcase its talents, network, celebrate each other and expose them.

GAFW opens vast opportunities for designers to showcase their brand to thousands of visitors including fashion buyers, retailers, local and international press, as well as increase visibility and promotion of brands associated.

Vanessa Gyan is the voice of entertainment news on Urban radio.

Gyan can be heard on the mid-morning show, Lifestyle Cafe hosted by Antoine Mensah at 11am. She dishes the latest in entertainment news, and all you need to know about your favourite celebrities in Ghana and across the world.

She also hosts ‘Trace Radio’ between 2:30 and 3pm every weekday on Your Music PlayStation.

Gyan previously worked with Global Media Alliance – producing and presenting ‘Sincerely, Vee’, a woman empowerment program on ETVGH.

She also produced ‘e on e’ and ‘Magic Moments’ hosted by Caroline Sampson, and also presented entertainment news during the primetime news on same station.

She was the co-host of ‘Yired’ on Y FM.

Gyan worked in the United States of America, covering events for VH1, MTV and BET. She’s interviewed a number of industry personalities including Boyz II Men, super-producer Swizz Beatz and Grammy Award-winner Melanie Fiona.

She relocated to Ghana in 2013.

Gyan is the daughter of Kiki Gyan of Osibisa fame.
