Update: Stonebwoy on European tour

Afro-Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy is still on his Europe tour; after thrilling Dancehall/ Reggae patrons who graced the KAPU show in Austria linz themed ‘Hot Fiesta Part 2’, an 8 hours live performance on May 28.

Stonebwoy held down the show with his hits songs including ‘Not Again’, ‘Happiness’ featuring Jah Vinci, ‘Kunaani’, ‘Submarine’, ‘Give it to them’, ‘CantCool’, ‘Tonga’ refix, ‘Run go’, ‘Pull Up’, ‘Hills and Valleys’ (LoversRock), ‘Ghetto Love’ featuring Irene Logan‘, ‘Ghetto Love’ featuring Obrafour, ‘onumade’ featuring Tinny, but to mention a few out of his 52 songs.

The Manager of Stonebwoy, Karl Gidiglo’s expressed gratitude and promised to have his act maintain a great and outstanding performance as expected of the #BhimNation flag bearer.

As per information gathered from a source, Stonebwoy’s performance at the Hot Fiesta Show was indeed splendid, “he is a great live performer, and patrons were highly filled and thrilled by his performance.”

Speaking to his manager, Karl Gidiglo confirmed that due to some technical hitches the Germany show could not come on and “also at Elephant Man’s show, Stonebwoy was billed to perform along with DJ Dynamite but was cancelled due to uncontrollable reasons.”

“He will also be performing in Italy on the ‘Dancehall Xplosion’ show with C-Moe, Maxis DG, Chiki and Pitty as supporting artistes at the Backstage Club, Parma on June 7 before coming back home in the second week of the month”, he affirmed.

“Although the show in Germany was cancelled, I went to Studio Kino to record two songs with award winning DJ and Producer Jonire Wind alias DJ Dynamite on the ‘Pretty P***Y Riddim’ which will be released later in the year”, Stonebwoy said in an interview with GhanaWeb Entertainment Desk.

The ‘Pretty P***Y Riddim’ produced by Trifecta have had various versions by top Jamaican dancehall musicians including Beenie Man, Assasin (Agent Sasco), Elephant Man, Charly Black, Demarco, Aidonia, and I Octane, to mention a few; making Stonebwoy the only African and Ghanaian to have officially recorded his version on the riddim.

The two songs which are yet to be titled will be on the Necessary Evil Album with videos to be shot later this year.

Currently in Austria, Stonebwoy is shooting the video of yet to be released track, titled ‘watch over us’ produced by BMG’s very own, BeatzDakay.
