Twitter users want Bridget Otoo’s page suspended

The backlash being meted out to Bridget Otoo by some Twitter users seems to have no end in sight as the outrage has aggravated.

This follows a post by the media personality Monday, October 14, 2019, about how men who cheat in relationships should be treated.

The post outrightly sparked outrage and displeasure of some Twitter users who subsequently tagged it as misandry and one of the several acts which incite violence, hate and disrespect towards specific groups in the society.

Her post read; “I have a problem with women who fight other women over boys! If you’ve caught your man with another woman, team up with the woman and deal with the he goat! It’s really is that simple.”

Not only did the post not resonate well with people, it also incurred their wrath as people sought to drag Bridget Otoo’s name in the mud for her ‘misandrist mentality’.

As rebuttals, the media personality squarely descended into the gutters with her critics and gave them a piece of her mind.

Per reports by some users, Bridget Otoo sent private messages of unprintable insults to people who criticized her or tweeted anything unfavourable related to her post.

This seemingly unguided utterances from the media personality have directly ignited calls for her Twitter handle to not only be unverified but be suspended as well.

#Sign the petition and #BridgetOtoo’s Twitter have been trending from October 14-15, 2019 and have garnered more than 2,355 engagements.

Ghanaweb’s checks on the petition revealed that more than 2,500 Twitter users had signed the petition as at 8 am on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
