Twens Speak Different Musical Languages In`Makuma` Single

After spending close to four months in South Africa the evolution of the unidentical Twens returns not with only snows but also speaking of different musical languages in their newest single `MAKUMA` ft 4x4 and produced by play boy.

The song has maturity, the young RnB/hiphop musicians have proved that their stay in South Africa was not a waste of time and resources but it was worth learning how to commercialize music to suit all types of demographics. `MAKUMA` is a mid tempo danceable song and has the elements of diverse musical language in it.

When we asked Twens why the blend of these languages, the young creative minds explained, `music is a universal tool, it cuts across boundaries so easily but for it to cut across those boundaires you need to feed it with the right content hence we have done exactly that in the newest hit.` Throwing more lights on the new single’s composition was Henry, the rap cat in Twens as he noted, `while in South Africa we learnt that their music travels very fast due to their language composition, so we decided to give it a try, hence we missed both the local dialect, little bit of Swahili language and as usual our style US English to see how it will go and so far so good.

`Working with 4X4 on this one was awesome, I remember when they heard the song from play boy studios they were so happy that finally Twens is doing a more commercial song and was glad to be on board`, the quiet Twen added his voice about 4X4.

Finally Twens made it known that, fans will be feeling them in a more matured way as indicated already, they will hear different languages in their music but they will still maintain their originality and uniqueness, hence they should not be perturb as they try to add variation to their music. Twens said: `we thank play Boy for his magical danceable beats, to our fans we are so grateful for their unending love and support, to all Ghanaian Dj, presenters and Pubs we are grateful for receiving the song with open hand but above all we thank God Almighty for bringing us back to do what we love to do, music, we thank everybody who hates as too because that keep us moving`.
