Trailer: Get to know the faces in the HAPPY DEATHDAY movie

If you have not seen the trailer that has got the nation talking, you either might not be a fan of movie or you haven’t come across the poster, haven’t heard of the jingles or not been told about the movie at all.

HAPPY DEATHDAY it is and the trailer is enough to make a first timer lover of movie have a super freakout.

Let us tell you about the movie in a jiffy: the movie asks the question of being in a world of mistakes and accidents, disaster is inevitable; but how do we control damage without being damaged?

Let us also tell you about the faces you will predominantly be seeing in the movie from start to finish; faces like: Kafui Danku, Elikem Kumordzie, Alexx Ekubo, James Gardiner, Toosweet Annan, Nana Ama McBrown and Stonebwoy.

Kafui Danku: Kafui Danku is one of the rising stars in the Ghanaian movie industry. She has featured in several movies including ‘Devil in a Dress’ and ‘4 Play Reloaded’. She has won the Best Supporting Actress of the Year (Ghana) at this year’s City People Entertainment Awards and the Entertainment Person of the Year award at the All Africa Media Networks Awards in Accra. She is also a producer

Elikem Kumordzie: Elikem Kumordzie is a Ghanaian tailor and actor best known as one of the housemates on the eighth season of the reality competition television series Big Brother Africa, in 2013. Elikem has featured in several movies and he is currently one the best actors in the new movie “Happy Deathday” produced by Kafui Danku.

Alexx Ekubo: Alexx Ekubo is a Nigerian actor and model. Ekubo is a native of Arochukwu, Abia State. He was the first runner up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest. He won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards for his role in the “Weekend Getaway” and currently won the as the Favourite Male Emerging Screen Talent (Africa) in the Screen Nations Awards in 2014.

James Gardiner: Ghanaian actor-James Gardiner has humility, charisma and an over reaching concept of fairness in acting career. The handsome Ghanaian actor has passion for his job; hence, resulted in receiving numerous awards to his credit. He has several movies both in Ghana and Nigeria.

Toosweet Annan: Toosweet Annan was born in Ghana and the first of four children. The young talented actress has acted 24 movies so far and 2 TV Series ‘My Home’ and an upcoming series ‘The GM’. He won the First International Award Winning Upcoming Actor in Ghana and received an award at the first Papyrus Magazine Screening Actors Awards (PAMSAA) in Abuja. He has the dream to see himself doing it big out there in Hollywood and nothing or no one can stop her.

Nana Ama McBrown: Nana Ama was born in Kumasi, Ghana to Cecilia Agyenim Boateng, and her father Kwabena Nkrumah. Nana Ama together with her siblings were adopted by Kofi McBrown and her aunt, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah. Although often overshadowed by her English-speaking counterparts across West Africa, Nana Ama, in recent years has gathered a strong loyal and she is being seen in most of the English speaking movies. She is humble, talented and simple.

Stonebwoy: Stonebwoy is the stage name of Livingstone Etse Satekla, a Ghanaian Afropop, Dancehall and Reggae artiste. Satekla was born in Ashaiman and began making music in his early school days. He released two major singles in 2013 "Pull Up" and "Kwenaamu". The former was a major hit and was nominated for the 2014 Reggae Song of the Year in the Ghana Music Awards. Stonebwoy has collaborated on two of his project in 2014 namely; "Ex-boyfriend" featuring Mugeez of R2bees and "Happiness" featuring Jah Vinci which are enjoying massive airplay across Ghana. Apart from his music career, Stonebwoy was featured in the new movie “Happy Deathday” which seems to be his first major role as a budding actor.

With these names warming up to make the premiere night one of a kind, we can only point that the suspense and intrigue can only be let out on the 14th of November, 2014, at the Silverbird cinemas at the Accra Mall and Weija from 6.20pm and 9:20pm.
