Top 10 most searched personalities in 2017 according to Google – Afia Schwarzeneger leads

Google’s annual list of the most popular searches is here and actress, comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger tops the list of most searched personalities in Ghana.

Artiste, Ebony places second while rapper, Medikal is third, with Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) whose demise shocked Ghanaians occupying the fourth position.

The lists are based on search terms that had a high spike in traffic in 2017, abrantepa.com is informed.

Afia Schwarzenegger made headlines when Ghana woke up to a video on social media that captured her allegedly to have been caught sleeping with another man.

The video purportedly recorded by Lawrence Abrokwah captures Afia in a headscarf, trying to cover her nakedness with a white towel.

Ebony on the other hand dominated headlines following controversies that arose due to her raunchy style of dressing.

Ebony, has also been tagged controversial because she uses double entendres and puns to capture people’s attention in her compositions.
