There is nothing to reconcile - Kuami Eugene on Patapaa beef

Ghanaian artiste Kuami Eugene has described how disappointed he was in Ghanaians who jumped to conclusion during his feud with his fellow artiste Patapaa.

According to the “confusion” hit maker, he was hurt when a cross section of the public started to lambast him when an edited video of him allegedly downplaying Patapaa surfaced on the internet.

The video which was an interview with GhOne’s Regina Van Helvert had Eugene telling the host he will never collaborate with Patapaa since the latter’s kind of music is too noisy. Although Kuami Eugene came out to apologize for the said statement, claiming he was on such terms with Patapaa,

The “One Corner” hit maker released a diss song telling the world Kuami Eugene was continuously farting during a pre-Ghana meets Naija event. According to Patapaa, the ‘Angela’ hit maker was also ‘gay’ because his fan base is mainly made up of women.

Patapaa subsequently came out to apologize, denying the release of the video and called for peace and reconciliation.

But speaking to GhanaWeb about the situation, Kuami Eugene said there was no need for a reconciliation because he does not hold a grudge against the leader of the Pa2pa soldiers.

“I have never had a grudge in me, especially when it comes to Patapaa. I know I will still meet him and we will jest like we used to. So really there is no grudge and therefore there is no need for a reconciliation.”
