The Bold Lip & You

Ladies are defying convention by bringing bold colours with them everywhere they go. Whether they are going to the office, church or events, they never part with their very bright coloured lipsticks.

“The bold lip” which is often being referred to these days for women who will rather not go in for the subtle lipsticks but go in for bright and bold colours which hitherto were unacceptable and were considered to be a fashion faux pas.

Lipsticks are supposed to complement ladies’ outfits as well as add allure and colour to their appearance and not distort. However, it’s one thing having them and another knowing the type that fits a particular type of face and skin type.

To bring out their beauty, ladies must put into consideration their skin colour (which is very important); for irrespective of your position in life, whether a stay at home mom or working woman, getting it right is important. It can be difficult to pull off the bold lipstick look, though.

For some women tend to overdo it, women should learn to tone down the rest of their make-up to complement the whole look and they should also be in the know that, bold coloured lipsticks are high maintenance which requires frequent touch-ups and spot checks for smudging.
