Ten for Miss Ghana Talent

Only ten out of the eighteen finalists competing in this year’s Miss Ghana pageant will get the unique opportunity of performing their craft/talent at the finals.

This decision was reached after a highly competitive Talent night was organized at the Drama Studios of the University of Ghana on Monday night, to select a crack core of performers who will entertain guests on the night of the final event, with their carefully-woven and rehearsed craft/talent.

Ranging from poetry, comedy, acting, dance, drama and music performances among other exciting crafts, the eighteen finalists put up a good show to the admiration of the rather professional eagle eye of students of the School of Performing Arts, many of whom were in attendance.

After a grueling round of pure display of fine talent, Carranzer Naa Okailey Shooter, Jennifer Annan, Josephine Aryitey, Gifty Enyonam Abiti, Roseline Okoro, Abena Appiah, Nana Foriwaa Oppong, Nadia Ntanu, Georgette Anawode Adeyiga and Adwoa Ofori Afriyie, beat eight others to earn the right to perform at the finals.

The organizers explained that the Talent Category is one of several fast track events that will form part of the judging process, adding that Monday night’s competition was merely put up to select ten out of the eighteen who will entertain guests during the November 10 finals with their various craft/talent.

The judging panel included Terry Bright Ofosu, David Babyquaye Essilfie, Ben Amakye Boateng all of the University of Ghana and Inna Maryam Patty, Miss Ghana 2004 and CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, organizers and franchise of the pageant.
