Tagoe Sisters: In the day & now

Thirty years after they hit the gospel trail, the Tagoe Sisters have not looked back but still continue to share their experiences with people all over the world using the power of music.
Lydia and Elizabeth Tagoe popularly called Tagoe Sisters have worked so hard to keep the gospel trend attractive to both the young and old largely because of their two-part style of singing and the occasional injections of the two-part harmony which has come to stay.
The adorable ladies have won numerous awards in Ghana and all over the world making hits like ‘Yesu Be Ye Ama Wo’, ‘Manya Yesu’ (1994), ‘Anka Matete’ (1996) and ‘Watua Maka’ in (2000). Their exciting music has traveled all over the world transcending cultural and political barriers, leaving joy and inspiration wherever they perform.
The ‘Eto Betwa’ singers keep looking trendy and beautiful despite their advanced years. Their trendy look never seems to amaze people anytime they appear on stage.
