There was an impressive turnout of studio audience when Season 5 of the ‘Amazing Child’ television show was unveiled recently at the TV Africa studios in Accra.
Theme for this year’s edition is ‘The Community-Our Responsibility.’
Participants in the all-children arts competition would use drama, dance, music and poetry, to highlight the need for everyone to ensure that our communities are safe and clean.
Kwame Obuo Owusu, one of the producers of the show said the 22 participating children are anxious to exhibit how they can use the arts to positively influence society.
The judges for this year’s contest are singer-dancer Akosua Agyepong; Terry Ofosu, a lecturer at the School of Performing Arts of the University of Ghana and Doris Ansah, an experienced television producer.
They said after the launch that they were looking forward to a tough contest in the coming weeks. Winning contestants will receive cash prizes and products from sponsors.
