TIGO donate towards Asafotufiami festival

Ada, Aug 5, GNA - A mobile network provider in the country, is supporting the celebration of this years' Asafotufiami festival of the people of Ada Traditional Area in the Dangme East District.

Millicom Ghana limited, also known as Tigo, has donated a cheque of GH¢ 2000.00 cedis and Tigo-branded souvenirs including mugs, water bottles, caps and T- shirts valued at GH A212, 000 towards the festival.

Mr. Seth Ntiamoah Asare Jnr, Territory Manager of Tigo, presented the cheque and souvenirs to the Ada Traditional Council at Ada on Thursday.

Nene Debrah IV, Chairman of the Traditional Council, who received the donation on behalf of the Council, praised Tigo for its contribution towards the success of the festival.

Mr. Jonathan Dokutsu, Secretary to the Council, and member of Asafotufiami Planning Committee, said that the donation would foster partnership between the company and the people of Ada.

This year's festival is expected to attract about 2000 citizens living outside the area.
