Ghanaian singer Kojo Blak has expressed gratitude after receiving seven nominations at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

Speaking in an interview on MX24 on March 17, 2026, Kojo Blak described the recognition as a blessing from God.

“I got seven nominations from TGMAs and I feel it’s a blessing from God. God has His own way of explaining things to all of us,” he said.

He stated that those who were puzzled by his omission last year would now understand the progress he is making in his career.

“People who didn’t understand why I wasn’t nominated last year would now understand. They have every reason to be overwhelmed. They would realise that now we are getting somewhere,” he shared.

Kojo Blak reflected on the competitive nature of the awards but remained humble about the outcomes.

“If I get all the awards from the seven nominations I got, everything is in the hands of God,” he noted.

The singer also acknowledged his fanbase, particularly female supporters, for promoting his music across borders.

“The female fanbase actually helps me in promoting my songs. They would carry my songs on their head and I love that about them. Especially those in Ghana, Nigeria and the UK as well. They’re doing a good work and I appreciate them for the support,” he added.
