Suspected killer of Kumawood actor remanded

Tijani Smalia, the suspected killer of Kumawood actor Abass Nurudeen, aka Blinks, has been remanded for two weeks by Asokore Mampong Municipal Court after appearing in court for the first time on Monday, November 19, 2018.

Asembi.com reported that Tijani was arrested at Atimatim-Maase by the Police upon a tip-off in connection with the murder of Blinkz.

The Ghanaian actor was stabbed to death around 10:30am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Akurem, a suburb between Aboabo and Sawaaba in Kumasi.

Blinkz, who worked with the Acheamfour Terminal, a transport company, met his death when he visited his master’s house.

Tijani’s case has been adjourned till December 3, 2018.
