Sunny FM Launches Today

The airwaves in the Greater Accra Region continue to be filled with radio stations operating on the Frequency Modulation (FM). Today, Accra will witness yet another launching of the latest to join the airwaves SUNY FM 88.7.

Situated just at the foot of the Tackie Tawiah Overpass at North Ridge, the station has been test transmitting since last year with some good selection of gospel music both local and international.

The new station is said to be part of the Spirit FM network, which consists of five FM Stations reaching Ghana, Congo and Uganda.

Sunny FM though is being launched officially today has transformed many lives in the country since it began its test transmission.

This has saved as a good starting point for the station, which aims at providing a range of good gospel music and broadcast inspiring programmes to Ghanaians.

Sunny FM also has a target of reaching out to the local population with a mix of news, sports and educational packages and soul touching activities.

Ghanaians will enjoy a variety of gospel programmes and preaching featuring renowned preachers as Rev. Andy Glover on weekends.

If what Ghanaians have been fed on within these past months is anything to go by, then Sunny FM is definitely ready to make its mark on the electronic media scene.
