'Summary' Premieres @ National Theatre On August 13

Friday, August 13, will mark Stene Production’s debut appearance on the premiering scene with the screening of its latest movie titled ‘Summary’, via a grand red carpet event at the National Theatre in Accra.

This is anticipated to be huge and gather a number of movie stars as well as other top celebrities and movie enthusiasts. The movie features actors such as Prince David Osei, Vicky Zugah, Suraya Mensah, Emmanuel Emoabino, Jackie Appiah and a number of others.

It pictures some of the usual and everyday problems that families and marriages go through. It is a story about Chris (Prince David Osei), who, after getting married to wife Lisa (Jackie Appiah), changed his attitude towards her and even denied her sex.

He would also not tell her the reason. Left in a fix, Lisa always wondered about the rationale behind her husband’s behavior. As the frustration worsened, she decided to find a way of satisfying herself, hence she found a different man to warm her bed.

And that man was no other person than Chris’s own brother, Mike, who resided with the couple in the same house. Mike on the other hand had his own problems. All along, he had been the black sheep of his family. Their father disowned him, after he sold the father’s house just to get his attention.

At the time Chris was intervening on Mike’s behalf to be accepted back into the family, his wife was also busy harassing Mike for sex. Mike tried on several occasions to resist Chris’ wife but he ended up falling for her. The very day he gave in to Lisa’s pressures, they were caught by Chris’ house-help.



Here, the suspense, intrigue, betrayal, greed and struggle set in. The rest of the twisted story is for movie enthusiasts to see for themselves when it premieres. The full story is however summarized in the concluding part of the movie, hence the title ‘Summary’.

The ending exposes Mike’s own impious plans with Chris’ house-help, as well as the reason Chris decided not to satisfy his wife after they got married. At the movie’s press preview last week to give the media a first-hand-view, producer cum actor, Emmanuel Emoabino, hoped the movie will make the expected impact.
